Kentucky Thermal Inspections offers full service Thermography Consulting, from beginning to end. While we have skilled and well qualified Thermographer's to perform your infrared scan, we maintain the ability to assist in the creation of your own in-house Thermography Program to meet the 2023 NFPA 70B Mandate to have an in-house program.

Thermography Program Development

All facilities will benefit from having an in-house Thermography program for PM and PdM. From start to finish, your Thermography program may include: ​
  • Designing of a Thermography Preventative Maintenance route which best suits the needs of your facility,
  • Recommend infrared equipment,
  • Equipment training and hands on practice within your facility,
  • Recommended frequency of scanning and best practices.

Onsite Consultation

Our Team will review your current Thermography Program and staff, and award a rating from 1 to 10. Along with the rating, your auditor will lay out a plan to keep you on track to achieving the next level. Your plan may include Thermography best practices, equipment, and techniques.

Software and Report Writing Techniques

When running a Thermography program with the intent of preventative maintenance, consistent reporting is key when comparing findings year to year. Knowing how your equipment should look (baseline scans) helps to identify issues before they become costly. 

Learn to properly identify issues, how to report the severity of the issues, compare findings year after year, confirm shutdown repairs have been successful, and communicate effectively to leadership and peers through strategic reporting methods.
